I was born, raised, and am now based in San Diego, CA, USA. After earning my BS at Cornell University's Hotel School, I worked my way around the world at HVS International (Boulder, CO), Hilton Hotel Corporation (Beverly Hills, CA), and Sorouh Real Estate Investment PJSC (Abu Dhabi, UAE). During my tenure at these companies I was responsible for real estate appraisals, asset management, buy & sell analysis, corporate M&A, development and new construction, contract negotiation, and various other corporate financial functions.
In addition to my hospitality industry expertise, I am an expert in financial modeling (excel and VBA based), a licensed real estate broker in the state of California, and a dual citizen of the US and Brazil with the right to work throughout the Americas. I am currently completing my MBA at UCSD's Rady School of Management.
